Autism Day - Autism is my Superpower - 2014

2nd April 2014, Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs held a conference for autism awareness. Rather than spreading awareness on the standard negative aspects of autism, we at the center decided to shed a positive light on the abilities and incredible talents of people with autism. The center invited families of children with autism to openly ask questions to our guest speakers including Prof Eman Gaad, Dr Dina Shebah and prominent writer Fatma Naout.
1st Year Anniversary

We at Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs decided to celebrate our 1 year anniversary by creating an event in which we honored and thanked each person that has contributed to the center’s success including our very own therapists. The event also included live testimonials from parents speaking about their children’s progress with the center.

In order to thank each and every mother for her endless efforts, sleepless nights and unconditional love to her child, Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs arranged for a mother’s day event in which every mother of our children was honored by their own child in their own unique way Prominent supporters such as actor Sameh el Serity, Youm7 director Adel el Sanhory and writer Fatma Naout were our guests of honor in this event.
McDonalds Fun Day

As part of our belief that every child has the right to be included in the society and treated equally, Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs arranged for a fun day out with our children in Mcdonalds. The day included competitions, different games and play with siblings and other children.
SSC 2nd Year Anniversary

We decided to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary by making an event on this occasion to thank our team and therapists who contributed in the success of the center, and also to honor the families of our children, and to present the progress of their children.
Autism Day - Different not Less - 2015

The conference was talking about autism and how it is a disorder not a disease and children with autism are simply different from others not less. The center invited families of children of autism and therapists to openly ask questions to our guest speakers including prof doctor Alwaya Abd El Baky
Autism Day - Acceptance is the cure for Autism - 2016

2nd April 2016, Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs held a conference for autism awareness with the theme "Acceptance is the cure for autism". The conference was talking about how we accept children with autism to succeed in the journey of Autism, also Dr. Aliaa El Naggar talked about sensory problems and how we deal with it. The center invited families of children and therapists to openly ask questions to our guest speakers including prof doctor Medhat Shafik.

Mothers Day - 2016

Swedish specialized center for special needs celebrated the mother’s day 2016 with the mothers of our children and every child gave his mother a flower and a letter thanking his mother for everything she has done for her child. Happy mother’s day!

For Christmas 2013, our team at the Swedish Specialized center for special needs organized a fun day our children. The children played and received their christmas presents. The children were very happy, and of course their families were glad to see that happiness in their kids.
